What is Stadium IT Forum?
Stadium IT Forum is a professional community for stadium technology operators and the companies that serve them. Its purpose is to strengthen the connections, conversations and knowledge sharing that make the stadium technology community valuable.
At the center of Stadium IT Forum is its Technology Council, a community of stadium technology professionals from teams, venues, leagues and conferences. Council members will have opportunities throughout the year to exchange information, compare experiences, discuss common challenges and build relationships with others doing the same work across the industry.
Small Events are the core of Stadium IT Forum
A central part of the Council will be a yearly series of small, invite-only Council meetings held in several locations across the U.S. These meetings will bring together a limited number of stadium technology operators along with strategic leaders from selected technology product and service providers.
Council meetings will be off the record, non-sales-oriented and built around substantive conversation. Members will have time to discuss technology challenges, share what is working and what is not, learn from deployments at other venues and talk directly with peers and technology providers about the issues affecting their organizations.
Newsletters and private networks keep the conversation going
Stadium IT Forum will extend those conversations throughout the year through a moderated private Slack network for Council members, providing a place to ask questions, exchange information and stay connected between meetings.
Stadium IT Forum will also publish original reporting, analysis and stadium technology news through its website and newsletter. The editorial operation will provide another source of useful information for the community while identifying the technologies, deployments, challenges and trends shaping the industry.
Stadium IT Forum is led by Paul Kapustka, founder and former editor of Stadium Tech Report and Mobile Sports Report.
